Happy New Year...and other stuff

Whew!  We just got passed the shortest day of the year, Dec. 21st, boy, we're glad that's over!  Once you get used to 24 hour days, those shorter ones really confuse us.  It's all uphill from here...wow, that doesn't sound any better either, does it?

Anyway...we're moving through the winter and getting a few gigs here and there and really having a good time hanging with our friends who brave the cold and crappy roads to come out and enjoy an evening and a "few" drinks with us.

We were really happy to see such a good crowd at the Arsenal in New Castle on Dec. 18th.  That was a hoot for us!  We really had a great time.

We've got a couple of good gigs coming up in January and February so check out the calendar if you're planning to join us some night.  We're looking forward to all of the gigs but especially the benefits in Easton and Pennsville.  Both are very good causes and you should really consider throwing in your support and having a good time while you're helpin' to improve someone's life. 

Well, that's enough running off at the jaw for now.  We hope to catch you all soon!

Oh, and HAPPY NEW YEAR from your friends in the band.

Thanks for checking out our site.  The Barrelhouse Blues Band (B3) is all about creating a solid blues sound and having a great time doing it.  Whether we're covering our favorite songs or playing one of our own, we're hoping that you're enjoying the music with us.  We really dig getting our stage energy from the crowd, so next time we're out, come share the music, and let us know that you're there!

The Barrelhouse hooligans really appreciate the great turnout of our friends at our gigs.  It's great to look into the crowd and see so many familiar faces.  YOU make all of the gigs worthwhile and a whole lot of fun for us!  We're looking forward to seeing you all at our upcoming gigs!
