Hey, everybody, this Sunday, December 7th, is the Boots N' Blues Benefit for Delaware Boots on the Ground, www.debotg.org! Barrelhouse will be there with The Witchdoctors, The Delcats, Pornomor, and lower case blues! There's a $5 donation at the door and that gets you in for the entire day of music! The gig starts at 3 pm and goes until they throw us out. Tom Foolery's Restaurant and Bar is the venue which is located in Middletown, DE (check our home page event calendar for address and map).
Delaware Boots on the Ground is a very worthy cause that supports our troops and their families while they are deployed around the world. All money raised through this event will go directly to the troops...enuf said! There will be prize drawings, raffles, a 50/50, great food and, of course, those Tom Foolery's event-created drink specials. Not to mention the five bands, blues lovers, and friends and families. We even hear that the Delaware National Guard will be there in force! Come out and have a great time, donate what you can to support the cause, and give us a 'Yo' when you show up! We'll be looking for ya! Mark your calendars for the next Blues for the Cure....May 17th, 2009, we're looking to bring in more bands and make this an all day event for Middletown's Walk for the Cure fundraiser.
